CAKE Trailer
Posted by: MichaelWe just got the trailer for a brand new film called CAKE. "When two star-crossed lovers set on eloping are forced into having a big wedding, the bride develops a plan of her own. But the groom is not privy to the plan and family and friends start to take sides at a reception for a wedding that never took place."
ABOUT THE FILM: CAKE premiered earlier this year at the Other Venice Film Festival where it took home the Abbott Award for Best Feature (Audience Choice). The film also played sold-out shows at the AFI Dallas International Film Festival, and was a winner of the Bronze Remi at Worldfest Houston.
The film's huge ensemble cast includes: G.W. Bailey (The Closer, Police Academy), Ann Cusack (Grosse Pointe Blank), Thomas Calabro (Melrose Place), William Zabka (Karate Kid), Mary Ellen Trainor (Lethal Weapon, Monster Squad), David Denman (The Office), Matthew S. Harrison (Welcome Back to the Barrio, Death Walks the Streets), Joe Estevez, Burton Gilliam (Blazing Saddles), and musician Jason Manns.
