Randy Couture NOT Cast in Mummy 3

Correction: I have no idea what I was smoking the day John and I talked but he DID NOT tell me that Randy Couture would star in Mummy 3. Rather he said he would star in Scorpion King 2. Apologies for the confusion.
 
One of my great friends John from TheMovieBlog sent me word earlier in the week that UFC Champion Randy couture was cast in Mummy 3. The folks working on the movie have emailed me to tell me that this is categorically NOT true. We thank them for the update. I am happy to hear this since fighters are not actors anymore then actors could last a milli-second in the Octagon with Randy Couture!
 
The film stars Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Fraser and Jet Li.  Jet li will play the first emporor of china, and when Father and Son team unearth him they must not only fight him, but also his entire army of mummified warriors. Filming began July 27th.
