Terry Zwigoff Directing $40,000 Man

Terry Zigoff has been tapped to direct the comedic twist on The Billion Dollar Man. This one being called The $40,000 man. The film is being put together by New Line and is expected to go into production this year and begin shooting. Its the story of a national hero who is severely hurt in a car crash and the Government rebuilds him. Stronger? Faster? Better? Uhhh no. They only spent $40k so no doubt we will have alot of one liners and zingers throughout the movie. I picture a guy with manequin arms and a can opener mounted on his shoulder.
