USA Series Conjure Guest Stars Sorbo and Lawless

The second season finale of USA’s crime comedy about real fake detectives “Psych” has a guest star: Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo. The timing is interesting, especially given that none other than Xena, Lucy Lawless is guest starring on the next episode of “Burn Notice” the night before. Sorbo’s “Legendary Journeys” have led him from a stint in the last season of Fox’s “The O.C.” to playing a bounty hunter in the “Psych” episode called, what else, “Bounty Hunters.”

 

Meanwhile, Lawless is appearing as a woman who needs help finding her estranged husband in the new “Burn Notice” episode “False Flag.” The freshman USA series has been featuring another familiar face, recurring star Bruce Campbell, an alum of both camp shows, “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and “Xena: Warrior Princess.” The two shows ran on USA in syndication for a few years, so it’s nice to see that USA remembers its stars and keeps bringing them back for more fun. The “Psych” season finale airs on Friday, Sept. 14, at 10 p.m. “Burn Notice” airs its new episode on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 10 p.m.
