Michael Bay drops Transformers 2 over Dispute

Talk about strange. According to our pals at FilmStalker Michael Bay has decided he will not do Transformers 2 after the studio has decided that they will no longer back the Blu-Ray format. Instead Paramount / DreamWorks will now release all their titles on HD DVD. As such Michael Bay reportedly posted the following on Shoot For the Edit:
"I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having two formats. No Transformers 2 for me!"
I am highly suspicious that Michael Bay would turn away a huge franchise film because he doesnt appreciate the studio switching from Blu-Ray to HD DVD. If its true it says alot about Michael Bay and the fact he wants fans to have the best experience possible.
