X-Men 3 Rumor Confirmed

Finally we have some solid info that X-Men 3 will indeed pick up where X2 left off with the Dark Pheonix Saga. The X-Men series producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed the rumor at a Seattle's Women in Film Q&A.

She also stated that after the Dark Pheonix saga in X3 there will be a solo Wolverine movie. Now I find this news kind of redundant because I'm sure everyone who saw X2 knew where the series was going. Plus talks of a Wolverine movie have been circulating like mad and we already now that Tyler Mane signed a contract to star in at least three X-Men films as Sabertooth. He did not appear in X2 so that leaves only two options. Either their will be a X4 or he will star in a Wolverine solo movie.
