Box Office Report Aug 19th

Mostly based on a dare (and an ever growing need to get the hell out of L.A. for a bit), I drove from L.A. on Friday night to catch a play in Seattle on Saturday night. Then after the play was done, I hopped back in the car and made my way back down to L.A. in time for work on Monday. I'm a little loopy, and I'm kind of amazed I'm still alive, but I'm gonna have to give a truncated Box Office Report for this week.
This weekend, Superbad kicked ass and The Invasion faltered miserably. Way to go, McLovin! Let's go to the numbers, shall we? (All in millions, remember, and these are the studio estimates, the actuals will be available on Monday. Just to prove me wrong).
