Len Wiseman directing Escape from New York Remake

The 'Escape from' series of films are so kick ass it goes without saying it. Now according to Variety all the rumors of a remake are coming true. Len Wiseman is going to direct and one of my fav actors Gerard Butler will play Snake Plisken. I hope they dont put Kurt Russell in a cameo though. If he isnt playing snake dont muddy the water by putting him in the film at all.

 

Butler will play Snake Plissken, the one-eyed convict who's charged with heading into the inescapable maximum security prison formerly known as Manhattan to liberate the U.S. president.
