They could sing, they could dance and for almost a decade, they ruled the airwaves, maintaining a stranglehold on their bustling, female, TRL-addicted audience. They were dubbed "the Boy Bands” and during their Golden Age, the likes of N-Sync, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and O-Town spawned a legion of imitators that seemed to multiply unchecked. But it could not last. Trends change and now a whole generation of former Boy Band heart throbs has found themselves looking toward life after Teen Idol-dom. Alas, it would seem the days when a snap of their fingers brought the spoils of Pop Stardom to their feet are long over. Or are they? VH1's new series MISSION: MAN BAND dares to ask the question, "Can five grown up Boy Band heart throbs join forces to capture new fame and fortune?"
