Wolverine Movie Plot Revealed

The Wolverine movie plot has been revealed on Wizard. The prequel script will focus on Wolverines Weapon X ties, his first run in with Sabretooth and of cours ehow he got his fancy adamantium skeleton. It is also rumored that their will be scenes from Vietnam featuring John Wraith and Fred Dukes aka The Blog. Hugh Jackman when asked about the project said:

â€œ[The Japan connection] is still something we really want to do,â€ admitted the actor-producer. â€œWhat we need to do is establish who he is and find out how he became Wolverine. And by the end of the movie, I want it to be that you definitely knew who this guy was, like Mad Max and Dirty Harry. Heâ€™s a good guy, but heâ€™s not a nice guy. Heâ€™s just the guy you want on your side.â€

Gavin Hood has signed on to direct the upcoming WOLVERINE movie, starring Hugh Jackman. This movie is going to be even better then the X-Men Films with a bit of luck! We recently sat down with Hugh Jackman to talk about his movie The Fountain and of course we wanted to talk about Wolverine as well. Wolverine is a really hot movie and something I cant wait to see. We specifically wanted to nail a few things down. First off we wanted to know if Bryan Singer was or was not directing Wolverine. Hugh Jackman had a great coy response, quote.

Well theâ€¦ [Uncomfortable pause, then laughing] the thing is, itâ€™s all in negotiation, I canâ€™t really â€“ thereâ€™s a list of, you know, Bryanâ€™s sort of at the beginning of, so you know of course heâ€™s in the loop. So, it is too early for me to say. I think itâ€™s great, you know, so weâ€™ll see the way we go. Now we have the script, now we really need to work out whoâ€™s the best person for it. You know, Bryanâ€™s always

been in the loop, for us.

I tend to agree Bryan Singer should be on the top of the list to do the Wolverine films but they should also be looking at talents like Zach Snyder who could really bring a dark twist to it. When we asked him when we might see Wolverine begin shooting the sad news is Hugh Jackman tells us it likely wont be until 2008. Quote:

I think weâ€™ll go for beginning of 08. That way, I need to have my idea for Wolverine, I wanna have four months cleared before I start shooting because I wanna be in the shape, the physical shape that Iâ€™ve never been before for that movie.

Whether its 2008 or today, I really dont care, I am a huge fan of Hugh and the Wolverine character, I can wait for it, so long as it delivers the goods!
