Naomi Watts NOT in Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince?

According to our pals at Joblo Naomi Watts will star in the upcoming Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince as Draco Malfoy's mother, Narcissa Malfoy. Well now it has been confirmed this is not true. According to Naomi Watts people through MTVBlog this is completely untrue. Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend the 3 names reportedly in the movie are not!

The film will hit theatres November 21st 2008. A reader wrote in with a completely unconfirmed scoop saying tht David Yates will be returning to direct Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince earlier in the month, quote.

But I have some news on Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince film, I have been informed and confirmed that David Yates director of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been asked to return for the next film and is expected to accept.

This news should be revealed very shortly, but I also have been informed that filming for this movie is expected to start in May of 2007, this is two months before the release of Order of the Phoenix. Iâ€™ve been told this is to keep with the kids real life ages compared to there characters ages as much as possible. Half-Blood Prince will be released on November 21st of 2008.

So who knows, nobody knows for sure.
