Guest Voices for Season 19 of The SimpsonsPosted by: JerricaWhile everyone gets ready to rush on theaters on Friday when “The Simpsons†movie finally hits the big screen, the animated series is gearing up for its 19th season. The feat in and of itself is already quite impressive, but it gets better as the list of guest voices for the season is announced. The voice guest list, as reported by ComingSoon, includes Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Steve Buscemi, Jack Black, Lionel Richie, Matt Dillon, Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Weird Al Yankovic, Dan Rather, Placido Domingo, Maya Rudolph, Kurt Loder, Beverly D'Angelo and Topher Grace. Buscemi had a cameo appearance as himself once before. Yankovic has played himself on the show before as well. Stewart and Colbert hail from Comedy Central’s news satire hour with “The Daily Show†and “The Colbert Report.†Grammer and Pierce are reprising their roles as Sideshow Bob and his brother Cecil and Mahoney will be coming in as their father to reunite the “Frasier†threesome. In an episode that also guest stars comic creators Alan Moore, Art Spiegleman and Dan Clowes, Black will play the owner of Coolsville Comics & Toys, competition across the street for Comic Book Guy. Rudolph has appeared in “Idiocracy†and “A Prairie Home Companion.†Grace is most recently known for having played Eddie Broch in “Spider-Man 3†but he’s best known for the lead on “That 70’s Show.†The Season 19 premiere is called “He Loves To Fly And He D’ohs.†The episode features Richie and his adaptation of “Say You, Say Me†for Homer, and it is scheduled for Sept. 23 at 8 p.m.
