The Last Legion Poster

We just got the spiffy new poster for The Last Legion. The Last Legion is an action-adventure pic set during the fall of the Roman Empire when its last emperor, 12-year-old Romulus Augustus, ruled for one day before being imprisoned on the island of Capri. With the help of teacher Abrosinus (Firth) and legionnaire Aurelius (Kingsley), Augustus escapes to make a last stand for Rome.
I am a huge fan of period pieces. I loved Troy, and you have Alexander and now Kingdom of Heaven. Granted I have not seen the last two yet. But I did see Gladiator which was another awesome period piece film. I think this film instantly has a shot just because it has attached Ben Kingsley. Its nice to see them doing a period piece and not attaching a big name heart throb but going for an EXTREMELY talented male lead instead. Stay tuned for more on this one.
