Bruce Campbell not in Bubba NosFeratuPosted by: MichaelAccording to HorrorMovies.ca Bruce Campell has revealed he is not signed for the sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, Bubba NosFeratu where he would play a vampire hunting Elvis. The sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep, Bubba Ho-Tep Nosferatu has been on again, off again more times then you can beat a dead horse with a stick. Bubba Ho-Tep was a great movie appealing to a special breed of movie goers. Bruce Campbell told Marsdust quote:
If the movie goes ahead without Bruce Campbell it will lose its built in audience since Bruce has a HUGE cult following. Anyone foolish enough to cut him out and try to make a film needs to leave the filmmaking busines period. The original Bubba Ho-Tep is based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the "true" story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis (Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his "death", then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.
