Frank Millers Ronin Nothing like 300

Sylvain White one of the producers of the upcoming Frank Miller movie RONIN spoke to UGO about the upcoming project during an interview for Stomp The Yard and let it be known this will be a completely different animal from 300.
Yes, it's different in a lot of ways. It's Frank Miller's first completed graphic novel on his own. It's very different style-wise and it's also very different story-wise. It's not as structured as 300. The adaptation process is a very different one, and the look is going to be completely different from 300.
We interviewed Frank Miller when 300 hit theatres and now we have heard from EmpireOnline that his newest project, RONIN is a go. Warner Brothers have bought the rights to it and have tapped Sylvain White to direct it.  Ronin is about a Samurai who gets re-incarnated in a futuristic New York.
 
Needless to say I am not surprised to see more of Frank Miller's work coming to life. I am sad to see that Zach Snyder is not directing, but oh well... we cant win em all!
