AVP Movie any better on DVD?

Don't count on it. Apparently Paul W.S. Anderson hasn' t been telling the truth. So what else is new? According to Digital Bits the DVD is pretty much what we all saw in theatre.

Finally, Alien Vs. Predator will officially hit stores in January (exact date is still TBA). We're made to understand that this will not be the recently rumored "director's edition" because there really isn't much unreleased footage. You might get a little more blood, but that's about it.

So there you have it. Never trust Paul W.S. Anderson to give you the truth. I don't really understand why he said there were scenes that were cut explaining the life of the facehuggers. He must have thought he could go back and re shoot the scenes for the DVD or something.
