Superhero Spoof on its Way

The team that brought us Scary Movie 3 are joining forces once again to make Superhero! for Dimension films. That team consists of David Zucker, Craig Mazin and Robert Weiss.

Variety reports that the comedy will poke fun at the multitude of superhero films, from Spider-Man to next summer's Batman Begins and Fantastic Four. Mazin will script, Zucker will direct and Weiss is producing.

They will also be working on Scary Movie 4. The scripts will be written at the same time but Scary Movie 4 will be given priority because the third film brought in $110 million for the studio. Filming will begin in the spring starting with Scary Movie 4 and than Superhero!.
