The Dark Knight Batman Poster

Scott just sent us a very cool poster for The Dark Knight. Looking at it, it looks like a Fan Poster but darn does it look good. No idea who made it, and it might very well be a legit poster, but overall I gotta say its fantastic! As a follow up to the blockbuster "Batman Begins", Christopher Nolan is set to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' "The Dark Knight", written by Jonathan Nolan, based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer. The film will be produced by Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan.

Additionally, Christian Bale will resume his role as Bruce Wayne and Academy Award nominee Heath Ledger has been cast as The Joker. Production is set to begin on "The Dark Knight" in early 2007.

Update: Scott emailed to let me know that my thoughts of this being a Fan Poster were bang on: Quote:

Your guess that it's a fan-made poster is correct and one that's been around a while, though I agree it's an excellent one. The image on the poster is actually based on the character Gywnplaine from the 1928 film THE MAN WHO LAUGHS -- which was the inspiration for the Joker character when it was created for the BATMAN comic.
