The Dead Walk Again in Hagerstown

After the huge success of the premiere for Deadlands: The Rising on April 14th, The Hagerstown 10 Cineplex located at 20135 Leiterburg Pike became inundated with phone calls and inquires from the public about whether or not this Maryland made $11,000 zombie film would play again. Well, the good news is yes it will. The even better news is, it starts a 2 week theatrical run on Friday 04/20/2007.

 

Deadlands: The Rising is set in 2008 and covers the escapades of 5 individuals havig to deal with a zombie uprising. A Mother and her son need to escape to the countryside for more protection, The father and his friend are trying to get back to the mother and son, and a man caught in a large zombie overrun traffic jam barely escapes death, only to be ignored when he tries to warn others.

 

Deadlands: The Rising is presented in Dolby Surround, and Digital Projection at the theater. The Films director, Gary Ugarek, will be at the theater Friday and Saturday night to introduce the movie to the public and talk a little about how he got 300 extras, cops, blocked roads and zombie mayhem completed for $11,000.00

 

Showtimes for Friday Night April 20th are 6:00, 8:30, and 11:00
Call the theater for matinee showtimes on Saturday and Sunday. Director Gary Ugarek will only be present for the 8:30 and 11:00 shows on Friday and Saturday (04/20/2007 - 04/21/2007)

 

Deadlands: The Rising is presented in its UNRATED DIRECTORS CUT form with both the newer alternate ending and the original release ending, and 3 minutes of extended footage. Although the film is being released unrated, admittance guidelines will be based on the MPAA R-rated rating system. (Under 17 Requires Parent or Legal Guardian)
