Ridley Scott doing Child 44

Ridley Scott is directing Child 44. Its actually a very interesting premise to. Not your normal run of the mill hororr/thriller. Set in Russia, the story revolves around an officer in the secret police who is framed by a colleague for treason and goes on the run with his emotionally estranged wife. 
 
While on the run he stumbles upon a series of child killings and launches his own  investigation risking his own capture. Its an interesting premise, whether it will have any legs or not, I cant say.
