X-Men 3 Possible Sentinel Pics!

First, i want to thank James Jones, for sending us these really cool pics. The model was a 3d developement model for "Xmen 2", designed by Guy Dyas (Production Designer "Xmen 2") and James Jones for the Computer Animators. The model on the pics is about 2 feet tall. 

But because of the costs of the computer animation (approx. 8 million US$), it was scrapped. The machines main feature is, that it is hallow all around. The negative space is an important design feature, because the concept for the machine was, that it could telescope into itself and end up in a disk-shape.

While Bryan Singer was still involved he told Total Film Magazine:"We felt, for X2, the concept of giant robots is a difficult sell. But it's definitely something we may have room for in the future." Lets hope that X-men 3 has the budget to bring this machine to life.
