Russell Crowe doing Sherlock Holmes

Now this is a good one. According to TeenHollywood Russell Crowe is going to play Sherlock Holmes in the new movie. All I gotta say is this just makes me want to watch it even less. Neil Marshall one of the great new horror directors of our time it seems will be taking a break to do something a bit more tame. Namely he is going to be doing a Sherlock Holmes movie based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyles hit novel.
 
I think this is a great move for Neil and a true test of his filmmaking skills. His work on Dog Soldiers and his other horror films has built a strong following for him, and this should open him to a new audience.
