National Lampoons Rise of Taj on DVD March 27th

MGM Home Entertainment takes studying abroad to new heights with VAN WILDER: THE RISE OF TAJ, available on DVD March 27. I had the opportunity to checkout this film over the weekend and gotta tell you for a sequel, and a sequel without the lead character Ryan Reynolds it is pretty damn funny. I would say it lives up to the original.

The sequel to the 2002 smash hit National Lampoon’s Van Wilder offers more laughs, more ladies and guarantees to be even wilder than the first. Starring Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, Superman Returns), VAN WILDER: THE RISE OF TAJ follows Taj Mahal Badalandabad (Penn) as he leaves the familiar confines of Coolidge College for England’s prestigious Camford University. There he finds a collection of student misfits in need of a mentor to show them how to party and score with the ladies. Along the way he shows the uptight student body how to get Wilder! The VAN WILDER: THE RISE OF TAJ DVD features the "unrated” version of the film providing all of the crazy antics and outrageous moments never-before-seen in theaters. Hilarious extras include a "Making Of The Rise Of Taj” featurette, on-set tours with Kal Penn, deleted and extended scenes and an outrageous gag reel.
