Statham & Li's ROGUE coming to cinemas in September

Lionsgate Films just set a release date for the new action movie "Rogue", starring Jet Li and Jason Statham. Some sites say that the movie has been renamed to "War", but as long as the studio still lists it as "Rogue" we will too. But now for the release date. Lionsgate plans to bring the movie to cinemas September 14th, 2007. After his partner Tom Wynne (Terry Chen) and family are killed apparently by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue (Li), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Statham) becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal.

 

Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, setting off a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang (John Lone) of the Triad's and Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi). When Jack and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.
