The Dark Knight Suits Up

This film is finally ready to get rolling, and final talks are in progress to sign Aaron Eckhart for the role of district attorney Harvey Dent, better known for his worse half, the grotesquely disfigured, Two-Face. Eckhart recently starred in "The Black Dahlia" with Josh Hartnett, and judging from that noir performance, he certainly has the look and seeming range to pull off golden boy respected lawyer turned horribly scarred and scary villain.

According to the reports as Batnews breaks, Christopher Nolan is seriously wrapped up in pre-production, looking ahead to a filming schedule that begins in April. SuperHeroHype quoted Nolan on his faith in his star, Christian Bale, and the determination that he is the ideal Batman for his Bat-trilogy; "Christian has got a very, very extreme form of intensity that comes across on the screen." Anyone who has seen "American Psycho," "Equilibrium," or "The Machinist" knows just how incredibly intense Bale’s on-screen presence and performances are.
