3 new movies from Jim Henson Company
Posted by: MacReadyWe already reported about a sequel to "The Dark Crystal" (titled "The Power of the Dark Crystal") and an upcoming "Fraggle Rock" movie some time ago, but now our buddies from 'Film Ick' told us that the Jim Henson Company also opioned 3 books. One of the books is Edward Gorey's "The Doubtful Guest" with Brad Peyton directing and Matthew Huffman writing the script.
Our friends also report that Brian Henson will direct Susan Cooper's "The Boggart", which will be a live action movie. Also coming, but with no director attached at this time, is a movie based on D.M. Cornish's "Monster Blood Tattoo" series. I always loved Jim Henson's films, especially "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth", and i think his family will carry on bringing us entertaining movies.
