Zhang Yimou gearing up for another Martial Arts movie

His producer Zhang Weiping told Chinese paper Business Times, that they had come out a rough idea for the movie. Right now they are in discussions of the film but of course nothing has been finalized. According to Weiping this time Yimou will focus more on story. This will be interesting because Hero had one of the best stories I have seen. So to focus on the story should be a treat.

The story is going to focus on China's Culture Revolution. He has done something like that in his most controversial film, To Live. The film is about a family enduring decades of political and social unrests. He was banned from making films with outside financing for two years and the film was banned from China.
