Jessica Simpson Cast as Daisy Duke

Well after much speculating, Jessica Simpson has been cast as Daisy Duke in the upcoming flick The Dukes of Hazzard coming from Warner Brothers. This will be Jessica Simpsons first time in a feature film.

Sean William Scoot and Johny Knoxville have been cast as Bo Duke & Luke Duke. It will be interesting to see how Jessica Simpson does as Daisy Duke. It is my personal feeling she was hired as a draw for a certain young market of viewers. I think she has great talent as a singer, but see no reason for her to feature in a big movie, other then as eye candy and a draw for the young teen fans.

Jessica Simpson will definitely sell tickets, we will see if she can also act.
