Harrison Ford turns down Star Wars Spin-Off

Mad props to Colin who wrote in to share a really cool news item with me. Turns out that Lucas had approached Harrison Ford recently to star in a new Star Wars spin off. MSN Entertainment is reporting he was offered $47million to take on the role but turned it down.
 
Instead Lucas has fallen back on doing another Indiana Jones film, which as we know is going ahead starting this june. I gotta admit the last star wars "redos" didnt do it for me but having a new film with Harrison Ford starring would have kicked ass. I wonder why he turned down the $47million? Thats alot of dough, and a great franchise to be a part of.
