Cameron's Avatar Coming in 2009

I always love hearing about new films that are coming out in the year 3010. ok yeah I am exageratting a wee bit, but James Cameron has announced that his new film the Avatar will be hitting theatres in 2009. ( via FilmStalker ) 20th Century fox has optioned the $200million space epic.
 
The movie is about Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture. I am sure the film sounds alot cooler then I am making it sound. We will have to wait and see where this one heads.
