'Out of the night', New title for 'War of the Worlds' remake ?
Posted by:On the official Dutch UIP site, the movie is titled "Out of the night". Does this mean the new adaptation of H.G. Well’s novel "The War of the Worlds" will be released with this title?
The shooting of this film is scheduled to begin in November. Starring Tom Cruise and directed by Steven Spielberg, it is very likely that this movie becomes a major blockbuster. And it better becomes one, cause the prognosticated budget is said to bet the highest ever given to a movie (even higher than Titanic, which cost unbelievable 198 Million dollars).
And what about the title ? Well, some say it is only the title for the Netherlands, some say that it is the working title during production. And others say, that it could be the real title, with which the movie will be released.
Also the Dutch UIP announces the Premier of the movie for the 14th of July 2005. I can’t believe the date, cause we all know how many time the companys need for the post-production (CGI-effects, dubbing, and….).
Until now, there is no official comment from the studio about it.
