Tony Scott's Warriors leads to Gang Truce?

Tony Scott has been super busy meeting with members of the Bloods and the Crips and now he is telling EMPIRE in the UK that he plans to shoot the film in LA, which we already knew from when we interviewed him, but that the gangs have agreed to a Truce while he shoots. Quote
"It’s going to be The Warriors meets Kingdom Of Heaven. It’s a very simplistic story – that’s the connection. I’m going to shoot it in L.A and all the gang members have said, if I get it on, they’ll sign a treaty for the duration of the shoot."
His intention is to cast real life gangsters in his remake of the film. He has already sat down with the leaders of both gangs. Like I said I have no comment on this one. You can read Sheila Roberts, Tony Scott Interview from yesterday
