Hero is coming to DVD

My favorite movie of the year will be on store shelves sooner than you think. Miramax is planning to bring the disc out on November 30th. They are doing this for two reasons.

One the Chinese version has been available on DVD online and in some small china town shops for close to two years now. Miramax has been doing everything to stop people from buying this DVD online and everywhere else by shutting down webstores and even some websites attempting to distribute the Chinese DVD. Eventhough they have sat on Hero for close to 2 years before releasing it.

Secondly they want to get the film out for the holiday season. That being the most logical reason of the two. The DVD plans to have english subtitles and an english dubbed as well. As far as special features go it seems that all they are going with is the making of featurette and the interview with Quentin Tarantino. I have seen both of those clips so this DVD is a bit of a disapointment.
