Joss Whedon directing X-Men 3 Movie?

Apparently someone let the word out that Joss Whedon is "doing X-Men next year of course..". Great news if you ask me. Not only is he currently writing an X-Men comic but he is a very well accomplished director as well.

It looks like everyone will be back at this point except for Halle Berry. They are still trying to get her to come back and reprise her role as Storm. Halle Berry is someone I do not understand. She doesn't want to come back and play Storm, but she wants to do a Catwoman sequel? The world may never know.

Bryan Singer is rumored to be involved in some capacity. It also looks like they will be filming in Canada again.
