Species 3 DVD Specs Released

Today Fangoria released the specs on the upcoming Species III DVD. The DVD is set to be released on Dec 7th 2004. MGM Home Entertainment is releasing both an R-rated and an Unrated edition, which includes several more sexy/gruesome scenes. Both discs include a 16x9 enhanced widescreen format, 5.1 digital suround audio and the extras listed below:

Audio commentary by director Brad Turner, writer Ben Ripley and star Robin Dunne
"Alien Odyssey: Evolution," a behind-the-scenes featurette including interviews with Turner, producers Frank Mancuso Jr. and David Dwiggins and actors Dunne, Sunny Mabrey, Natasha Henstridge, J.P. Pitoc and Robert Knepper
"Alien Odyssey: SPECIES DNA," a featurette in which Turn and production designer Cameron Birnie discuss the set designs
"Alien Odyssey: Alien Technology," a special FX featurette with visual FX coordinator Greg Tippie and digital FX coordinator Dennis Berandi
"Alien Odyssey: Intelligent Lifeforms," a creature FX featurette with designer/creator Rob Hinderstein
