Rambo IV : In the Serpants Eye
Posted by: StanchI dont even know how to begin with this one. Rambo was great fun back in the day but it was no Terminator and I really gotta question why we need a new sequel. Well after much talk and debate the official Title is now known via ProductionWeekly.
The film will shoot in Thailand in January and is called, Rambo IV In the Serpants Eye. Stallone is going to write, direct and produce the film himself. Now before you snicker it should be noted that Stallone is actually a fantastic writer and is quite well known for his writing ability. The synopsis for this one though is pretty humorous.
Rambo is recruited by a group of Christian missionaries to protect them against pirates, during a humanitarian delivery to Burma. After some of the missionaries are taken prisoner by pirates / Burmese soldiers, Rambo must assemble a team of mercenaries to rescue the surviving relief workers. Not quite sure why they are calling Burmese Soldiers "PIRATES" but hey who knows.
