P.S., I Love You, James MarstersPosted by: JerricaBest known for his role in the Joss Whedon universe as Spike on Whedon's fan favorites, "Buffy" and "Angel," actor James Marsters has become quite the television star. Following the cancellation of "Angel," Marsters hauled anchor over to "Smallville" to play Milton Fine, or Brainiac to Superman devotees. In the past Marsters has made a few appearances in feature films, "House on Haunted Hill" having the highest profile of his movie-length endeavors, but now he has been cast in the drama "P.S., I Love You," an adaptation from a best-selling novel by Cecelia Ahern. The Californian actor will be playing the best friend of a woman's late husband. "P.S." is about a widow whose husband left her 10 messages to help ease her grief and move on with her life. Seemingly scheduled to begin filming this fall, Richard LaGravenese will direct. LaGravenese has some noteworthy credits to his name as a writer; "The Fisher King," "The Bridges of Madison County," "Unstrung Heroes," and "The Horse Whisperer" for example. The cast includes Oscar winner Hilary Swank ("Boys Don't Cry" and "Million Dollar Baby"), Gerard Butler ("300" and "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life"), and a new television star whose celebrity has grown significantly in the last year, Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Supernatural" and "Grey's Anatomy").
