Requiem - German Exorcism drama coming

The Horrordrama "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" was a bis success and many of you (over 775.000!) read my article about the real case of the German student Anneliese Michel, which the movie was based on. Now one of our readers named Steve sent me some feedback and told me about a new German movie from director Hans-Christian Schmid.

The drama is titled "Requiem" and is the first project the director made with his own production company "23/5". Schmid is known for movies like "Crazy" and "After Five in the Forest Primeval". The script was written by Bernd Lange, and it seems that this movie also is based on the Klingenberg case. But i believe that since its a German production and said to be a drama, it will stay more true to the real events. The film is scheduled to come to German cinemas on March 2nd, 2006.

The story starts in the early 1970's, when the young German student Michaela Klinger (Sandra Hüller) leaves her very religious home to start her studies in Tübingen. After enjoying the first steps into her new freedom she begins to feel chased by inner voices. She comes to the conclusion that she is possessed by demons. At first she fights against it, but then she voluntarily seeks help in an Exorcism.
