ZOË SALDANA is a rising talent who in the past year has had three diverse feature film releases. She starred opposite Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher in the number one comedy Guess Who, a foreign film La Maldicion del Padre Cardona, directed by Felix German and in the teen comedy Dirty Deeds, an independent feature f co-starring Milo Ventimiglia, Lacey Chabert and Charles Durning.

Saldana recently completed the controversial film After Sex with Jane Seymour and Mila Kunis The Ways of the Flesh directed by Dennis Cooper and co-starring Wood Harris, a new independent comedy Premium and in the psychological thriller The Skeptic in opposite Tim Daly and Tom Arnold.

Upcoming for Saldana is the independent production Temptation, a rock/pop musical version of Faust directed by Mark Tarlov and Constellation, directed by Jordan Walker Pearlman.

Saldana’s first foray into producing will be Jamaica Kincaid’s Lucy, in which she will star in the title role. Lucy will be directed by Maggie Greenwald.

Recently, Saldana appeared in Steven Spielberg’s The Terminal opposite Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta Jones and Stanley Tucci and Gore Verbinski’s Pirates of the Caribbean starring Johnny Depp. In 2004, Saldana accepted the Young Hollywood "One to Watch" award presented by Movieline Magazine for her performance in The Terminal. Saldana made her motion picture debut as the memorable Eva in Center Stage, directed by Nicholas Hytner. Her following role was in Get Over It opposite Kirsten Dunst and Ben Foster. She was then seen opposite Britney Spears in the coming-of-age film Crossroads and in the independent film Snipes opposite recording artist Nelly. Next, Saldana appeared opposite Orlando Jones and Nick Cannon in the acclaimed feature Drumline. Her television credits include appearances on the WB’s Keeping It Real and NBC’s Law & Order.

A trained dancer who moved with her family from the New York City borough of Queens to the Dominican Republic at age 10, Saldana attended a preeminent arts school Ritmos Espacio de Danza Academy in her adopted nation before returning to the United States as a teen. The charismatic natural joined performance troupes in NYC, including FACES Theater Co., a group presenting improvisational and educational skits for teens and New York Youth Theater, where her role in the chorus of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat caught the attention of her manager.
