Originally hailing from the U.K., RHONA MITRA has become one of today’s most sought-after young actresses, due to her memorable roles on television, including David E. Kelley’s critically acclaimed series The Practice and Boston Legal, as well as a season-arc on FX Network’s hit show Nip/Tuck. She has since moved on to more significant roles in film, most recently starring in the thriller The Number 23, opposite Jim Carrey and Virginia Madsen, and the feature Shooter, with Mark Wahlberg and Danny Glover.

Up next for Mitra is the lead role in the much-anticipated Underworld franchise origin story, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which will have a theatrical release in 2009. Mitra recently wrapped production on the independent feature The Boy in the Box, with Josh Lucas and Jon Hamm.

Past big-screen credits include Universal Pictures’ The Life of David Gale, opposite Kevin Spacey; Highwaymen, alongside Jim Caviezel; Sweet Home Alabama, with Reese Witherspoon; Hollow Man, alongside Kevin Bacon; and Get Carter, opposite Sylvester Stallone.

Mitra currently resides in Los Angeles
