Viewed, 2401x, Last Updated 2006-09-05 Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in New York City, Peter began his theatrical career after receiving a Fine Arts degree from Fordham University. “The Sopranos” fans know Peter from his recent guest appearance as "Salvatore" the killer from Naples in the "Luxury Lounge" episode. Most importantly, Peter played the unforgettable role as "The Calzone King - Mario" in the hit show “Seinfeld.” In 1999, Peter received a Best Supporting actor nomination at Method Fest for the role of “Salvatore, the Sicilian speaking restaurateur" in the feature film My Brother Jack, opposite Marco Leonardi (Cinema Paradiso). Later that year he took home that same prize at the Napoli Film Festival for Italian-American Film. Other starring roles and features include Spider-Man 2, S.W.A.T., Pretty When You Cry, Blowback (HBO), The Streetsweeper (2003 winner best Italian-American Film), Ithica - A Sea Apart (Thesalonica, Greece 2003), Executive Target, What's Eating You?, The Thousandth Man, Iron Maze, Encino Man, Defenseless, and as "Det. Otto Grimaldi" in HBO’s film noir’s 40's spoof Cast a Deadly Spell (directed by Martin Campbell). Some memorable TV Guest appearances include “Strong Medicine,” “N.Y.P.D.
