KERRY WASHINGTON (Rosetta) was named “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” for RAY at the NAACP Image Awards in 2005 and nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress for her role in LIFT (2002).  She is currently starring in THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND and her other recent films include THE FANTASTIC FOUR, LITTLE MAN and MR. & MRS. SMITH.

After attending The Spence School in New York City, and graduating from George Washington University’s theater program in 1988, she made her film debut in Jim McKay’s award-winning OUR SONG.  She followed by starring opposite Julia Stiles in SAVE THE LAST DANCE, for received a Teen Choice Award for Best Breakout Performance.  Her subsequent films include BAD COMPANY, THE UNITED STATES OF LELAND, THE HUMAN STAIN, AGAINST THE ROPES, SHE HATE ME, and WAIT.  Her upcoming films include Chris Rock’s I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE and FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER.  On TV, Washington has been seen in “NYPD Blue,” “Law & Order,” “100 Centre Street,” “The Guardian,” “Strip Search,” and “Boston Legal.”
