Julia Ormond recently completed work on David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt. She also appeared in David Lynch’s 2006 film Inland Empire. Perhaps best known for her work in the films Legends of the Fall, Sabrina and First Knight, Ormond has also appeared in the international pictures Smilla’s Sense of Snow, Sibirskij Tsiryulnik and Resistance. Ormond studied at London’s Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts and landed the role of Catherine the Great in the biopic Young Catherine soon after graduating. She appeared in the acclaimed BBC mini-series “Traffik” and in HBO’s
Stalin, in which she portrayed the Soviet dictator’s wife opposite Robert Duvall.
