Audiences and critics alike first took notice of Jonathan Tucker when he portrayed Tilda Swinton’s sensitive teenage son in “The Deep End.” The film was followed by a diverse string of roles, including the remake of the horror classic “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” for New Line Cinema; Samuel Goldwyn’s “Stateside”; a role as younger sibling to John C. Reilly in the Steven Soderbergh/George Clooney-produced feature “Criminal”; and the Miramax thriller “Hostage,” in which he starred opposite Bruce Willis. Additional films include the role of Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon’s AWOL soldier son in Paul Haggis’ “In the Valley of Elah”; Sofia Coppola’s “The Virgin Suicides”; Barry Levinson’s acclaimed “Sleepers”; and the comedy “Two If by Sea” with Sandra Bullock.

On television, Tucker once again teamed with Haggis as the star of his NBC drama series “The Black Donnellys.” Previous television credits include “The Practice”; a guest- starring role on both “Law & Order: SVU” and Law & Order: Criminal Intent”; a season premiere of “Six Feet Under”; and a starring role on the acclaimed Showtime series “Masters of Horror: Dance of the Dead.”
