Barry Austin received his undergraduate degree in Musical Theatre from Birmingham Southern College and has an MFA in Theatre (Directing) from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Barry has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions and in theatres around the country. In addition to playing "Reverend Smith," he has recently portrayed two other preachers, in both God's Man in Texas with The Little Theater Players and Southern Baptist Sissies at Terrific New Theatre. Recent independent film roles include "Dick" in Who is Colin Cherry?with Production Plus and "The Director" in Robert Rugan's Alice's Misadventures in Wonderland.
