See The Hunger Games Movie Early!As of today there are 23 days until the highly anticipated film adaptation The Hunger Games Movie hits theaters. To celebrate the occasion a website has been launched dedicated to giving fans the chance to brings an early screening to a theater near you. If click HERE you will see a map of pre-chosen locations where screenings will be available for you to win tickets to an advance screening. You will “unlock” your nearest cities screening by tweeting that city’s given hashtag.

THE HUNGER GAMES Movie is directed by Gary Ross and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz and Donald Sutherland. The film follows Katniss as one of the two entries from her District to participate in an annual fight to the death their Capital holds called the Hunger Games. The story takes place in a dystopian future where twelve Districts take up the country of Panem and are ruled by the Capital. After a uprising from a 13th District resulted in it’s destruction the Capital now holds the Hunger Games as a punishment against Panem’s citizens to remind them who is in charge. Each District must enter one girl and one boy of a certain age to compete and the last one left alive is treated to wealth and food in a country where starvation is a regular worry.
