The Legend Ends In New The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster

The Legend Ends In New The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster

I love Christopher Nolan’s movies, but most of his posters have a lot of similar vibes. Usually the initial poster is pretty cool and then all posters for the same movie after are a bit rehashed in ways. Not a huge knock as I still tend to enjoy them all, but I have to say the New teaser poster for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is not among the best of the Batman posters. Check out the one sheet below and leave your thoughts.

I won’t say I hate it because I still like it quite a bit, but it doesn’t quite stack up to the previous films posters of the Batman logo in the burning building or the Joker poster with “Why so serious?” written in blood. The new one may grow on me a bit after I stare at it for a while, but for now I will say that it if nothing else has not deterred my interest in the movie as it’s still seated at numero uno on my most anticipated movies.

The poster features a tattered Batman cowl sitting on the ground in the rain and appears to be forcebly ripped from the rest of Batman’s costume and Bane in the background walking away with the words “The legend ends” across his back. This raises one huge question- is Batman going to die? The question may also be if Bane merely cripples Batman by breaking his back much like it is depicted in the comics. Either or it has the attention of this huge Batman fan and next summer we will find out the answer to this biting question.

To each their own….just cause you dont agree doesn’t make me wrong. Just as you are not wrong for thinking it’s great.
