Megan Fox versus Rosie Huntington Whiteley

If I am Megan Fox I am probably not feeling so hot about getting kicked off the biggest movie franchise that Paramount Pictures has ever made. Worse yet I would probably not be overly impressed to be replaced by a supermodel with zero acting experience. It is one thing to be replaced with a more talented actress but it is quite another to be replaced by a bookend and by that I mean a super her woman who stands in place, mutters a few things, might hold a few things up but otherwise does nothing for the project.

Frankly I feel quite bad for Megan Fox and think that she did a really good job in the first film thanks to a great character and strong direction by Megan Fox. The question I have for all of you is what do you think of her replacement and who do you prefer? To give you a critical perspective Luke who reviewed the film on site writes about Rosie’s performance;

Huntington-Whiteley is not a great actress, but she is hardly the downfall of the film; she is a Victoria’s Secret model though and they make sure to point out her key ASSets the moment she appears on screen

The biggest question mark for the film came in the form of first-time-actor Rosie Huntington-Whiteley but she plays her role adequately and is an easy replacement for Megan Fox.

This is a twofold question so you can answer both, first off who do you think did a better job as an actress and secondly who do you think is the prettier woman? Since let’s be honest it’s all about the looks in this role and the substance and character is very much secondary.

I will go first by saying as much as I think Megan Fox has a long ways to go as an actress that she did a great job in Transformers and is the better actress and I am even going to go as far as to say she is also the more stunning woman. I am a woman being told that I am now supposed to look like Rose Whitely because she is the most beautiful woman right now. No. There are many other women much more beautiful. Rose Whitely is not unattractive, but she is too tall and lanky. Where Megan is more curvy and normal. While I don’t think Megan Fox was ever the most beautiful woman in the world, I do think she is gorgeous and the better actress. Based off of the story and movie itself, I would say Megan, because I wanted Sam and Mikaela to stay together. They were so great in the first two movies and I was sad to see it end. We all know they are both beautiful, but I’m going with Megan.

Megan fox all the way. She may not be the greatest actress, but she can deliver. All Rosie does is scream, pout her lips and run in her pretty high heels. Seriously, the girl does nothing but show off her body. We get it – you’re beautiful, but this is an action movie. I would’ve been embarrassed to be Rosie in the first place – if I have zero acting skills, I wouldn’t want to spoil a good franchise with my inexperience.

Megan Fox is muchhhh hotter and is a better actress than Rosie H. When Megan Fox was playing her role in Transformers 2, she made the movie interesting, and not boring to watch. When Rosie played her role in Transformers 3, half the movie she just screamed and made the movie boring. Transformers 3 didn’t need to
replace Megan Fox for Rosie. Transformers 3 didn’t even need to place a hot girl in the movie. The movie could just go on without any hot girl in it.

First and foremost, their characters.
Mikaela was a sexy, fiery young woman who could actually take care of herself. She freaking hotwired a tow truck and drove it with a giant robot on the back! She captured a Decepticon with tongs and torched its eye! She got it to show them to Jetfire, and she drove over a Pretender (Alice) without even blinking! She also saved Sam from said Pretender.
And Carly did what? Got herself captured by Soundwave and almost died? The only legit thing that she did in that ENTIRE movie was make Megatron mad enough to help Optimus kill Sentinel. She’s a Mary-Sue, basically. A totally useless Mary-Sue. She’s not even that good as eye-candy.
Mikaela and Sam had great chemistry!

Carly and Sam were like a couple of dead bricks.

Fox is also more beautiful than Huntington-Whiteley. Rosie looks weirdly plastic, and her lips scare me. Megan is more natural-looking.

If we’re talking about looks, well I think Megan Fox fit in better, but for some reason, Rosie just doesn’t look like she should belong in a movie like transformers.

ALSO, you could get rid of Rosie and the film could still follow pretty much the same plot, basically she had no purpose there at all, apart from getting caught, whoop.

Even before Megan Fox had her nose and lips done, she was stunning. Without makeup, she’s stunning. Rosie…Not so much. Megan looks better WITHOUT makeup then Rosie does WITH makeup. She’s just another tall blonde with boobs. And her character was way unnecessary.

Unbelievable that this could even be debated! Megan is way better looking, had a way better character which actually added a dynamic to the geeky-teen-save-the-world concept (basically balanced the franchise in my opinion). It was so disappointing to see her replaced by a quite nasty looking size zero type who ‘needed saving’! Couldnt help feeling a little sick, much like the way I do when I see ‘Bella’ in the Twilight saga (yes, women will have you watch these things!). Thank God everything else was good fun; I struggle to imagine why anyone would like to watch Rosie, or whatever her name is, acting, if thats what its called… A sad day indeed, when anyone could even compare the two!!!! Just so many actresses out there who would do a better job, not to mention look nicer even if Megan was not to be used again. More than anything though, it just seems so pointless to introduce a character who adds no value at all to the cinematic experience.
