Megan Fox went on from Transformers to win the title role in Jennifer’s Body a teen horror comedy from the creator of Juno. Considering the writing talent behind this film and the stand out cast which included Amanda Seyfried this film had the potential to be a goliath. Unfortunately Megan Fox was upstaged by her co-star and although it featured an ultra-erotic lesbian make out scene even that could not save this movie from being just short of a bomb.

Is it bad that the highlight of Jennifer's Body was a lesbian make out scene?

Bad Boys 2:

Megan Fox’s Bad Boys 2 role was a really key one. So key in fact I am not sure how many people realize she was even in that film. She has an un credited role as a ‘dancing bikini girl’. Really if you are as hot as Megan Fox is you would certainly hope for more important roles but as fans it never hurts when they make the clothing as optional and elusive as her acting can be at times.

Transformers 2:

I for one was not a big fan of Transformers 2. It had its moments but overall I felt it was a film that was top rushed and lacked polish. Frankly there are very few good things I can say about Transformers 2 so let’s sum it up with it has giant robots, over the top action and Megan Fox in scantily clad outfits running around

Transformers 2 was very mediocre but Megan Fox was still hot!

Megan Fox has many more films lined up for her to take a stab at including a Judd Apatow Comedy ‘This is Forty’, Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘The Dictator’ directed by Larry Charles and the comedy ‘Friends With Kids’.

Loosing the role in Transformers 3 certainly generated a lot of negative buzz but if Megan Fox can continue to evolve as an actress she will have a long and prosperous future in the Hollywood Machine.

What are your thoughts on Megan? Is she more than a pretty face to you? Do you think her future is bright? Or has she fizzled out far top early after being canned from Transformers 3 by Steven Spielberg of all people.

Megan Fox is a joke. She was beautiful in the first transformers movie, but between that and possibly during Jennifer’s Body, she became SKELETOR and is no longer beautiful. So, technically, she got fired for telling the truth. America needs to fire the media biz in California and New York for lying to us, so there is a related prophetic parallel. She seems a pretty good actress, but her roles have largely been to exploit her fantastically beautiful appearance. She needs more good roles or to start directing herself in movies. At least she isn’t a reported she-male like the runway model they replaced her with in the Transformer movies, who can be quite difficult and discomforting to look at much less understand when he/she is speaking, the thought of him/her being rather disquieting and disheartening without the giant robots. So, I think Megan should hang in there and keep doing smaller good roles, including comedies, and continue accepting all kinds and scope of roles offered to her in all kinds and scope of movies. She’s doing alright so far.
