So Who Exactly Fired Megan Fox From Transformers 3?

I don’t know about the rest of you but I am having a horribly stressful day but it cannot be as bad as Megan Fox’s day is going. She was fired as we all know from the Transformers 3 movie and it exploded across the internet and had everyone talking me included. Unfortunately for her the story is headline news again not because she was fired but because of who actually fired her.

Back in 2009 Megan Fox did an interview with Wonderland Magazine where she referred to Michael Bay as ‘hitler on set’ and ‘hopelessly ackward’ with ‘no social skills’. After this interview she was quickly fired from the third Transformers film, Dark Side Of The Moon. Different media reports reported she quit to pursue other opportunities but most had it pegged that Michael Bay fired her for her incredibly bold and harsh statements in the press about a man who basically made her career.

The interesting news today is as noted not that she was fired but by whom. It turns out that it was not Michael Bay who cut Megan Fox down to size but rather it was Steven Spielberg who gave the orders. In an interview with the Daily Mail Michael Bay is quoted as saying that shortly after the 2009 interview it wasn’t him that fired Megan Fox but rather Spielberg made the call to fire her.

What does it mean that Spielberg had her fired and not Michael Bay? Quite a bit in my humble and uninformed view on the movie business. As much as Michael Bay is a force to be reckoned with Steven Spielberg is a goliath. For him to call Bay and say ‘fire her’ is the equivalent in my view of putting a big wooden stake through the heart of Megan Fox’s movie career.

Michael Bay may have made her and Megan Fox may have made her bed but its Steven Spielberg who put an end to her career. What are your thoughts is there still a potential future in the movie business for Megan Fox? Or is she screwed?

She is quite attractive and that should tell you everything you need to know about her acting career despite her mediocre acting performances. Studios will hire her just for her looks because people (guys & lesbians) will pay the $10 to see her shake her ass and cleavage about onscreen no matter the quality of her acting. Although I have to admit I did like her in both Transformers films and will kind of miss her in Transformers 3, but I guess that’s why we have Rosie Huntington Whitleyto do just that.

  I watched the movie last week, but when I found out Megan Fox’s is not in the movie, I did not enjoy the movie. It was something missing in the movie, Megan Fox’s of course. Steven or Whoever cut her from the movie I must say it was really bad move and huge disappointment. To put so much effort to do the movies but at the end u make the fans disappointed. I must say Megan was part of Transformers 3, good movie but huge disappointment.

Oh well she could be like kristanna loken in Terminator 3 and grow them back.

IMPO she shouldn’t have said the things she said. She has been in the business for this long so she would have known that SOMETHING to this extent was going to happen. It would have been different if she said that Bay needed to work on his people skills, but you can’t go around saying things like that about a director and expect them to take it sitting down, twiddling their thumbs. Yes, I liked megan fox in the transformer movies and what not. But it’s not just that I’m dissapointed to see her gone from transformers 3. I am more annoyed that they kept the character and CHANGED the actress.. I mean, serioiusly, the least they could have done was dye Rosies hair.. I mean really? They could have even written into the story that Megans character had gone off somewhere or whatever and wasn’t going to be seen. I dunno, it just makes me loose interest when they keep the character but change the actress to someone who doesnt even look the slightest bit alike.

  Yes, there is freedom of speech and no one deprived her of that. the issue is that she reaped the consequences of what she said. I have a hard time feeling sympathy for her. shes either really stupid or her ego was so large that she felt like she could publicly say what ever she wanted about the person who gave her the chance of a lifetime that all but made her career without any backlash. In the workplace (and thanks to many human rights organizations, ALL workplaces) you cannot say things like that to anyone, about anyone. This is what they call harrasment in the workplace. It will slow it down for a while, but, as everyone here knows, she is a knockout, and people with her looks will never have a lack of work, whether or not she becomes an A-list star. She wasn’t exactly my favorite, but i did like her in the 2 Transformers movie. It would be different without her but the movie is still awesome though. Perhaps why she said that was because they’ve been together like a family since the beginning and maybe she thought Bay wouldn’t make a big deal if she says something like that and thought it only of a joke. But yeah i guess she wasn’t careful enough..he’s still the CAptain after all. But does Spielberg need to do that? He may be a legend but i think it was arrogant of him cutting her off like that. What really ticks me off is the fact is that rosie doesn’t do shit in the movie. She’s just there to be there. But Megan she straps bumble bee to a tow truck and drives him around the city so he can shoot things in the first movie. Hot wires cars captures the smaller decepticon kills one just by running over it and just plain old kicks ass. This other girl is just the damsel in distress. It’s fucking ridiculous because everybody else in the movie is all beat up bruised scratches and dirt on their faces clothes torn hair messed up and they’re doing all the hard work. And this girls hair through out the entire fucking movie looks like she just walked out of the god damn salon. Her clothes look fucking fresh off the rack and she’s the girl running around screaming so someone can save her. Which proves my point that she is eye candy.
